I'm an only child but with my neighbors or cousins we made our own fun, never got bored, was hardly inside, explored so many things and just plain had a good ol' time!BeadedTailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14662802836032167316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-77704213653365987912010-07-28T20:04:47.237-05:002010-07-28T20:04:47.237-05:00Gosh, what didn't we do! I never lived in a rural area, but in San Diego we had wild canyons bordering the subdivision where we lived. Exploring was always a big activity. When my sister and I got bicycles we were more mobile than ever. In the late 50s and early 60s it didn't seem that kids were in as much peril as they are today. My childhood seemed so full of wonderful things and no I was never bored that I can remember.

Lee
Tossing It OutArlee Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11663942782929929334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-76759906971244984152010-07-26T07:19:30.609-05:002010-07-26T07:19:30.609-05:00Love these pictures!Love these pictures!Elizabeth Spann Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15625595247828274405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-86806013524388465722010-07-21T14:54:38.475-05:002010-07-21T14:54:38.475-05:00Oh, what precious memories!Oh, what precious memories!CMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15697762495151569561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-56097453169488562352010-07-18T14:14:38.923-05:002010-07-18T14:14:38.923-05:00I love this blog, especially the pictures and memo...I love this blog, especially the pictures and memories.JudyH329https://www.blogger.com/profile/04169383110345540966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-69485190936065709392010-07-07T22:42:01.225-05:002010-07-07T22:42:01.225-05:00I only told Mom once that I was bored. Also PlayDoh! I would take out my play dishes and use the PlayDoh to form into food and play "restaurant". I remember my cousins and I would get in the back of dad's old pick-up truck and have other cousins ride up on their bikes like we were a drive thru...giving us their food order to go. Ha!
It was so much fun being a kid, and I don't remember being humped up in front of a t.v. but always outside.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01425387310708023279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5427255405351747883.post-51899999029691743552010-06-29T12:55:04.870-05:002010-06-29T12:55:04.870-05:00Hi Teresa .. yes we didn't do bored either .. ...Hi Teresa .. yes we didn't do bored either .. we were outside, or reading, or riding our bikes .. lots to do ..

I get so irritated with people who say they're bored .. in this day and age - with all our opportunities ..

Love your pictures and memories .. happy days .. I had imaginary friends and made up stories, played with every animal around and had a great time. I can't see children today doing that and they're missing out on a lot.

Mason
Thoughts in ProgressMason Canyonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10935307400882363560noreply@blogger.com
