Rocking Chair

There's not much to say about this little rocking chair except that it's mine--from my childhood.

An entry in my baby book reads that I received for my second birthday: a rocking chair, coloring book, balloons, pull toy, doll, canister set and a suitcase.
Through the years, I've shared it with my children and my grandkids. And now? Millie just happened to be passing by and...get down, Millie!
Who's Millie? Check out Monday's post at Journaling Woman.

R for Rocking Chair!

We have one almost exactly like that here! It's been in the family a long time. Cute chair...and even cuter with Miss Millie on there!

It's funny that a chair can hold so many memories, but they can. I still have the rocking chair my Dad bought when I was born. Mille looks so cute.

Awww Millie! Put a cushion on the chair and I bet she'll adopt it as her own.

How good to have the record of your second birthday presents and what a nice present to get. I expect your family is getting as much enjoyment out of it as you must have done.

Oh wow, that reminded me of a little rocking chair I had as a kid. I haven't thought about that in a long time. Adorable little pal there :)

Hi Teresa .. well she's learning to take centre stage isn't she .. I sure hope the chair legs, and rungs survive her teeth - or does she just do ankles??!!

Beautiful rocking chair though .. and you have treasured it .. cheers Hilary
