It bears repeating that my mom, Joyce Dugan Powell, is awesome. When I think of love, I think of her. She took lots of photos of her children growing up (and still does). She put together photo albums for us—later in life and kept a record of our babyhoods, in the ruralhood, through baby books.
Here’s mine.
And here >
Love describes what our mom does for her
children, but also who she is.
Here's the woman who inspires LOVE, with her perfect baby.
(Apologies to my sister and brother for my perfection.)
And here she is again with that perfect child.
That's Love through a Baby Book!

Baby books are awesome! I have one too, with details such as the first date I rolled over, or said 'Daadeedada' :)

Baby books are such a wonderful treasure. And you're so right about a Mother's love coming through those books. Looking back on mine, it's a great remind of how my Mother must have felt as she filled out the book. Priceless anytime, but especially when they are gone.
Getting pics taken all the time, been there indeed.
That was nice of her to put together for you. I don't think I have one. I was kid number two, so the novelty had worn off I'm afraid...
Hi Teresa .. I was kid number one - and haven't got one ... but I did get a 50th photo book through the ages ... but not a baby book - but what a lovely set of memories for you - they must be very poignant ..
I can understand the perfection thing though .. my two brothers don't get a look in!
Cheers Hilary
No one loves us like our moms. They are very special people in our lives.
I love those photos of you with you mom :)
I have a baby book too, they really are special, aren't they?
Baby books are special. Each notation is made with love. Each picture taken with love. You are right... baby books are love!
That's a great memento you have.
